Before we get into the products Radical Roots offers, let’s get into the actual herbs behind the products themselves.
Organically-Grown Colorado Hemp
Radical Roots has done things right by being totally upfront about where they source the hemp to create their products.
On their website, they let you know that most of their hemp is cultivated at the Pachamama Farm in Longmont, Colorado from plants grown organically with “love and respect.”
Radical Roots also lets you know that they’re currently working with two different strains of hemp in order to find the perfect match to blend with each of their Chinese herbal formulations.
Either way, the hemp used to extract CBD oil is some of the highest quality, US-grown cannabis that exists.
High-Quality Traditional Chinese Herbs

Alchemic Extraction
The extraction process used by Radical Roots is a bit different than that typically used for CBD products but is one that has been used in old alchemic preparations for centuries.
Radical Roots uses what’s known as spagyric extraction, which uses organic grape ethanol to extract the essence of hemp and various herbs.
The hemp and herbs are then burned at high temperatures between 6-8 hours and from the ashes, water is then used to reconstruct the salt and mineral components from the plant, where they are then added back to the tincture.
