I’ve noticed some people have been wondering whether or not CBD isolates work when compared to full plant extract products.
I made the video above to address this concern.
A CBD isolate is CBD in its most pure form, extracted and separated from the rest of the components in cannabis plants.
A full plant extract on the other hand is an extraction from a cannabis plant which contains CBD as well as other naturally occurring components like secondary cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.
Some people prefer full plant extracts because they want the entourage effect. The entourage effect is the theory that cannabinoids like CBD work best when taken alongside the other components which naturally occur in cannabis plants.
While some people will always prefer full plant extracts, CBD isolates can definitely have value for others. In some cases isolates can have their own unique benefits as well.
For the most part, the isolates vs. full plant extracts debate comes down to personal preference for the CBD user. Both kinds of products work and have their own place in the cannabis world.
